Take the weather, for example.
Once upon a hot, almost 50° C midday the sun taught me to see not the material, but the processes. Melting the borders of the material world, turning everything around in one boiling mass colored in yellow and white, it - somewhat cruelly - insisted that physically everything around us is nothing but a mix of the same elements… organized in different sequences. And this difference stood out so brightly against the background of the elements fusing into one mass.
It's the structure of elements' organization that distinguishes the stone from the man. It's the structure of organization of consciousness that distinguishes the killer from the scientist. Forget about meat, skin and bones - even mixed up in a different way, they do not make us us. Our thoughts, our feelings, our songs and poems, our deeds - this is what we are made of.
